Liam grew up in the North of England and started kayaking as part of a college course in outdoor education. He was instantly hooked, and he has spent much of his time since in a kayak or planning kayak trips. Liam has paddled all over the world and guided for Small World in both Ecuador and the Grand Canyon. He particularly enjoys helping those paddlers who come to Small World with an ambition to improve as well as paddle some world class rivers. Stacks of patience, a wealth of experience and a keen ability to simplify the complexities of whitewater are what makes Liam an effective instructor and a world class guide.
