Brayan Robles is from Tena, Ecuador. He’s spent his entire life in Tena surrounded by green jungle and crystalline rivers, the perfect place to be a kayaker! Brayan learned to kayak at a young age from his family. His uncles and friends were key to introducing him to the sport in a safe and fun way. He says he can’t thank them enough for the patience they had in teaching him and taking him to rivers that left a lasting impression on him. Brayan says, “I love kayaking, it’s one of the favorite things in my life. I could spend whole days on the river paddling and getting to know new places.” He loves to guide because he likes to pass this favor along and, he says, “I love seeing guests’ faces full of happiness!” Besides kayaking, Brayan loves riding motorcycles and his dream it to one day travel by bike and by kayak.

Advice for people coming to Ecuador? Come to Ecuador with an adventure mindset. We sometimes have to be flexible and ready to change our plans in order to take advantage of all the wonders Ecuador has to offer, both on and off the river.
