GRAND CANYON KAYAKING AND RAFTING

Rafting and kayaking through the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River can be a life changing experience and shouldn’t be missed. SWA has once again teamed up with Moki Mac River Expeditions to offer a fourteen-day river trip from Lee’s Ferry to Lake Mead July 31, 2008. Moki Mac is a licensed Grand Canyon outfitter and runs awesome trips. One or two of SWA’s guides are along as well, either in a kayak or raft, probably both. If you haven’t had the opportunity to run one of the most famous rivers in the world, what are you waiting for? If you already have experienced this wonderful trip, you’ll want to go again! The rafting is in oar-powered rafts so no experience is necessary and kayakers should be class IV boaters or very go-for-it class IV- paddlers with bomber rolls. Please talk to us about your kayaking skill and experience before signing up. If our trip date doesn't work for you then check out Moki Mac’s website www.mokimac.com for one of their excellent trips, they have one every couple of weeks, May through Oct.

We ran our first kayak/raft trip with Moki Mac in the mid 1990’s and wouldn’t want to run with anyone else. The food is great, equipment good, boatmen extremely knowledgeable and they have a great love and commitment to the Canyon. Contact info@smallworldadventures.com if you are considering this amazing trip!

July 31, 2008 Raft or kayak for fourteen days with us through the Grand Canyon.  This trip is unique in that it is limited to only sixteen guests and we plan on having two of SWA’s owners on the trip; Don Beveridge as our kayak guide and Larry Vermeeren will be one of the rafting boatmen.
Cost $3350 plus shuttle
